Familias Seguras for Spanish-speaking mothers who have experienced or are at risk of domestic violence and Ser Papá for Spanish-speaking fathers who want a better parenting relationship with their young children. Familias Seguras, led by AnaMaria Rullier, meets Thursday evenings in the Family Center from 4:30 pm to 6:45 pm. Free child care is provided to mothers who attend this group. Red Oak Opportunity Foundation supports this child care.
Ser Papá, led by Carlos Guerrero, also meets on Thursday evenings in the Family Center from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Ser Papá offers a 12-week curriculum,after which a certificate may be awarded, but fathers may also re-enroll if more work is needed.

Parents do not have to be eligible for MediCal and do not have to have insurance.
